Wisdom From the World

Don’t underestimate your mate. They know more than they say, think more than they speak, and notice more than you realize. Are you curious?” – Congo Counseling

“I used to dream about escaping my ordinary life, but my life was never ordinary. I had simply failed to notice how extraordinary it was.” – Ransom Riggs

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of innovation, creativity and change.” – Brene Brown

Wisdom From the Word

“God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home, and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day-our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear…We, though, are going to love- love and be loved. First we were loved and now we love. He loved us first.” – I John 4:17, 18a, 19 (The Message)

Keep Me Real, Lord!

Lord, you are the greatest initiator of love on planet earth. Your promise is that when I receive your love, your very spirit infiltrates me and love begins to transform me.

I ask you to help me to grow in my willingness to be vulnerable…Vulnerable with you and vulnerable with my mate. Help me to be both a receiver of love and an initiator of love. Thank you in advance Lord for what you are doing in my life. Amen.”
