Wisdom From The World

“My guiding principles in life are to be honest, genuine, thoughtful, and caring.” – Prince William

“Loving isn’t something you do to get a result-it’s an action that, in itself, fills you with joy and therefore fulfills its own purpose at each moment.” – Barbara De Angelis, Ph.D.

Never blame anyone in your life. Good people give you value. Hurtful people give you a lesson. Cruel people teach you to set boundaries. Loving people give you a memory. – Janet Congo

Wisdom From The Word

Thank God because He is good, because His love never quits…This is the very day God acted-let’s celebrate and be festive. – Psalm 118:1, 24 (The Message)

Reliable friends, who do what they say, are like cool drinks in sweltering heat – refreshing. – Proverbs 25: 13 (The Message)

When you’re kind to others, you help yourself; When you are cruel to others, you hurt yourself. – Proverbs 11:17 (The Message)

In light of all this, here’s what I want you to do. While I’m locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out here and walk – better yet run! – on the road God called you to travel. I don’t want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don’t want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. And mark that you do this with humility and discipline – not in fits and starts, but steadily, pouring yourselves out for each other in acts of love, alert at noticing differences and quick at mending fences. – Ephesians 4: 1- 3 (The Message )

Keep Me Real Lord!

Lord, help me to embrace the opportunities to love that are directly in front of me. Transform me through your love and help me to turn every test in front of me into an opportunity to think lovingly, act lovingly and talk lovingly. May I choose love!

I can’t do this on my own Lord. I need your presence in me to make this prayer reality.
