Keep Me Real, Lord!

“Lord, help me to keep moving towards my partner with a loving attitude expressed in words and actions. When I am disappointed or hurt by my spouse’s choices or lack of them, help me to express those emotional realities in a way that communicates love to my partner as well as a desire for change. If I start to distance from my mate, help me to catch myself and to move back towards him/her. Thank you for answering my prayer.”
