Keep Me Real, Lord!

“Lord, I want you to help me to be a conscious lover. I want to be aware of my thoughts and feelings. I want to be intentional in my attitudes, words, and actions. I want to be both a friend and a lover to my spouse. I want to be aware of what I bring to our marriage. I want to value my spouse as a co-contributor to creating our marriage, to parenting our children, and treasuring our grandchildren. Help me to be personality honest so that I am willing to face the areas in which I need to grow.”
